One of America's ten most iconic rail trails, it's 22 miles offer unsurpassed vistas, Quiet arbors, ever-chilly caverns, and a variety of bridges. Hiking, running, horseback riding, cross country skiing, biking.  Gardiner NY to Kingston NY. 

Walkway Over The Hudsonlocated nearby between Highland and Poughkeepsie, is the longest elevated pedestrian bridge in the world at 1.28 miles long.
